About The Event
When working in organisations that are data-led and productivity driven, creativity is often at the bottom of the list of skills that are supported or valued. Yet as designers, our ability to curate and enable innovation is reliant on our creative muscle. For it to remain strong and inspire others to follow suit.
Join us this month for an interactive session facilitated by CX designer and improv artist Carolyn Le Mon on tools and mindsets that help us build and maintain creative resilience. Laugh out loud, abandon your inner perfectionist and discover what it feels like to "fail gloriously".
About Carolyn Le Mon
Carolyn currently works at Vodafone as an Enterprise Customer Experience Designer and is a mechanical engineer by training. With a corporate career spanning design, sales and technology, her skill set and interest have taken her into energy, telco and media to name a few. In 2011, Carolyn started improvising because she thought she couldn’t, and kept going because she wanted to see what would happen. Highlights include playing in New Zealand International Comedy Festival, being part of the inaugural Ferris Wheel, and creating abstract mélange performances with Coconut Mojitos and performing at the 2018 Hawaiian Improvaganza Festival. Carolyn dreams of performing a complete improvised musical, preferably with backing by Pharrell Williams, Barbra Streisand and Dolly Parton.
