About The Event

 The Conversation

Join us this month to hear from Cole Armstrong, Director at behavioural insights agency NeuroSpot to explore psychology based approaches to uncovering how people perceive and understand the world, instead of working with common notions of what we believe is their reality.

Cole will share examples of where applied human psychology and human sense-making have led to better outcomes for customers and organisations alike. Sharing approaches that often require minimal resources, Cole will help us think how designers can support organisations dealing with today’s challenging environment of shifting perceptions of reality by keeping customers’ understanding of reality at the heart of our practice.

The Speaker

Cole Armstrong is the Founder and Director of NeuroSpot, a behavioural insights agency that provides deep insights into what users actually think and feel – rather than what they say they think and feel. At NeuroSpot, Cole conducts user research and behavioural design work to help organisations such as Countdown, Trustpower, AA Insurance and the Vodafone Warriors (amongst others) to better engage with their customers and users. Cole has a background in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, and has worked across a range of commercial and public sector industries in NZ and around the world.
