As designers and customer advocates we are tasked with creating experiences, services and products for customers and communities that are (and always will be) diverse in many ways. Yet, what approaches and tools are part of our practice arsenal to help us understand and design for diverse user needs? How do we recognise unconscious bias and accessibility barriers that prevent equal and fair access to the products, services and experiences we design?
