About The Event

Netball New Zealand (NNZ), Netball Player’s Association (NZNPA) and High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) saw a need to cooperate to better support elite netballers through their career pathway in a way that considered the whole person and reached the wider group of players, families, professionals and associated organisations.

Over the course of 3 months, two EY designers convened and coached representatives of the three organisations including coaches and ex-players to design a fit for purpose Player Development Programme and service model that respects and reflects women’s holistic needs for wellbeing, performance and career longevity. Addressing challenges particular to female high-performance sport, the challenge team defined a minimal service start-up and a delivery roadmap for prioritised concepts.
