Amplifying Design with Creative Intelligence

IAG believes in making your world a safer place. The IAG Design Centre in Sydney uses design to bring this purpose to life through its interactions with customers, the community and staff. In the process, they are learning that Creative Intelligence is the foundation every designer needs to engage in the design process in an authentic, mindful way.

Join us for this hands on, interactive seminar where the IAG Design Centre team will be sharing tools and learnings from their research into Creative Intelligence. This interactive session focuses on you. They will facilitate an experience that help you build on their learnings as you play with tools from the Creative Intelligence program yourself and explore how you might use it to enable more creative behaviour in yourself and your organisation.

This session is a brief overview of IAG's Creative Intelligence program which was awarded a Good Design Australia Award in Design Strategy in 2020.

About your speakers

Surya Davey - Lead Creative Development Principle, IAG Design Centre

True to her name meaning 'Sun light', Surya's energy lights up a room. She finds joy in building deep connections providing others safe spaces to try new things, be brave and grow. She is currently IAG's Lead Creative Development Principle with a background in visual communication and design. Her passion for the past couple of years has been how creative intelligence can support new ways of doing business in an uncertain world. She is energised by spontaneous adventures, being in nature and believes life is always better when you are laughing.

Dom Gagarin - Senior Service Designer, IAG Design Centre

Dom is passionate about people and is constantly exploring ways to bring out the unique perspectives, superpowers and voice that lives within each of us, so that each of us have the confidence to bring our unique, diverse voices into the world. She is currently exploring how Creative Intelligence can make us all better designers (and humans!) and is excited to bring this work into the CX Collective Community. She relishes a good story, and learns life lessons from the beautiful game of basketball. Right now, she is re-learning the joys and value of play as she raises her little boy to become a force in the world.
